Senseo Single Serve Pod Coffee Maker Review (bust)

Coffee Pods Articles Add comments

I have the Senseo single serve pod maker more than three weeks ago. I tried it shortly after (within hours), and has avoided the topic since then.

The machine was easy to use. Clean the machine to fill the tank in the back with cold water and 2 cups of broth with the setting when the unit heats the water. Once this is done, you are set.

The unit came with a bag of medium roast pods (the first error was: MediumRoast), and you have the option of two pod pod holder. First of all, it is better pod / s exactly perfect, or you want to clean a mess when you try to get beer. The water is full of leaks from around the pod holder. And if you do not want running water all over the counter, you should do better, especially for the tank until it away and slide it back empty disk.

A big complaint I have is the amount of coffeeProduce. A cup of … ok. It 's definitely a cup. What about 3 grams. The establishment of a cup filled my cup of mocha. I also have two pods for it. The coffee is weak and watered down. I am the river without a paddle if I want two portions served with a cup with only two. No more than two falls within two pod support. This will almost fill a 6 oz cup of cappuccino. Are more severe than that in my coffee.

Cleaning is easy. Cleandown. Make sure the muzzle is empty tray. Pour the remaining water from the tank, and you can even parts through the dishwasher if you prefer.

Wafers. This may be the main problem. The coffee tastes old and stale. Almost as if it was because many years ago. I know it sounds hard, but do not even have an aroma of freshly ground pepper as soon as you open the bag of holding. I even went to the point of going to buy more of them just in case it was a Fluke. No, it was an isolated case. Sorry.

I cut the edge of a sleeve. Empty the contents and replace it with a little 'fresh grinding Ethiopia. Apart from the small amount that it is produced, taste (one cup cycle) was great. Cool, although I found the foam to be produced on the machine itself false, it was all in all, the replacement is a big improvement. Maybe the car would be more successful if you Coffee Company to produce betterSleeves>.

Overall: I do not recommend the sole manufacturer of Senseo pods serve. You can do these things much better. It would cost a bit much 'more, but you will not regret it in the long term. If you like a small amount of coffee, this is for you.

They charge $ 69.00 on this unit.
