If you love coffee you drink it, not only for the caffeine rush. It seems that heightened sense of awareness when an error, or at least not nearly as deep as some people would suggest. Recent research has suggested that coffee does not keep alive the people in any significant degree.
It is interesting that even very long lie-ins have no benefit for the individual. In fact, further work has strongly suggested that a "power nap shed" betterfatigue as a hit of caffeine or an extra long sleep.
A simple 20-minute sleep are more useful than a cup of coffee in the body, but of course not as refreshing taste good. It is interesting that both methods seem to be better than just to sleep in.
The study dealt with the participants that had either been asleep for another 90 minutes, a 20-minute afternoon nap or a cup of coffee after lunch. Vigilance was tested and the conclusion was that the NAPwas the best of the three, and that improvements were in the vigilance with this method immediately and permanently.
Drinking coffee seemed better than doing nothing during the long sleep simply did not show any effect.
One of the stumbling blocks appears to be that sleeping antisocial whereas coffee socially acceptable and even encouraged. This can discourage people, especially if they take a nap with others.
But why not the best of bothWorlds and have a shared nap a refreshing coffee should be followed?
